Zepto, Shiprocket, Truhome Finance Among Major Companies Preparing for August Market Debuts

India's primary market is preparing for one of its busiest fundraising months of 2026, with more than a dozen companies expected to launch initial public offerings (IPOs) in August. Collectively, these offerings could raise over ₹25,000 crore, highlighting continued confidence in the country's capital markets and strong investor appetite for new listings.

According to market reports, the upcoming IPO pipeline spans a diverse range of sectors, including quick commerce, logistics, housing finance, dairy products, education infrastructure, asset management, and industrial manufacturing. The fundraising activity reflects improving market sentiment as companies seek to capitalize on favorable equity market conditions following a robust year for India's IPO market.

Among the most anticipated public offerings is quick-commerce platform Zepto, which is expected to lead the fundraising calendar with one of the largest issues of the month. Other high-profile companies, including Shiprocket and Truhome Finance, are also preparing to enter the public markets, offering investors exposure to rapidly growing segments of India's economy.

The strong pipeline comes after consistent activity throughout 2026, with dozens of companies already tapping the primary market. Market participants believe the continued flow of IPOs demonstrates sustained corporate confidence despite periodic volatility in global financial markets.

Zepto and Shiprocket Lead a Diverse IPO Pipeline

Several marquee companies are expected to dominate investor attention during August, with fundraising plans spread across both fresh equity issuances and offers for sale by existing shareholders.

Zepto is expected to launch the largest issue in the upcoming batch, targeting approximately ₹8,010 crore through a fresh issue while also including an offer for sale of existing shares. The quick-commerce company has emerged as one of India's fastest-growing consumer technology businesses and is expected to attract significant institutional and retail interest.

Housing finance company Truhome Finance is preparing an IPO valued at around ₹3,000 crore, with the proceeds divided between fresh capital issuance and shareholder exits. Meanwhile, logistics technology platform Shiprocket plans to raise approximately ₹2,342 crore through a combination of fresh shares and an offer for sale, reflecting growing investor interest in India's expanding digital commerce infrastructure.

Education infrastructure company Elevate Campuses is also expected to enter the market with a proposed issue of roughly ₹2,550 crore. Other companies in the pipeline include Innovatiview India, Milky Mist Dairy Food, Dhoot Transmission, Asset Reconstruction Company India (ARCIL), Gaja Alternative Asset Management, Ardee Industries, Rays of Belief, Hy-Tech Engineers, Shankesh Jewellers, and Learnfluence Education. Together, these companies represent industries ranging from financial services and manufacturing to consumer products and education.

Most of these companies intend to utilize fresh capital for business expansion, debt reduction, technology investments, and strengthening their operational capabilities, while offers for sale provide existing investors an opportunity to partially monetize their holdings.

Strong Market Sentiment Fuels India's IPO Momentum

The upcoming fundraising wave reflects the resilience of India's primary market, which has remained one of the world's most active despite fluctuations in global equity markets.

Throughout 2026, Indian companies have continued to access public markets as investor participation remains healthy across institutional, foreign, and retail segments. The consistent success of recent listings has encouraged additional businesses to accelerate their IPO timelines and capitalize on favorable valuations.

Industry observers note that investors are increasingly seeking opportunities across multiple sectors rather than concentrating only on traditional industries. Companies operating in technology, financial services, logistics, healthcare, manufacturing, and consumer businesses are all attracting attention as India's economy continues to diversify.

The IPO calendar is also expected to remain active beyond August. Several other companies are already scheduled to launch public offerings in the coming weeks, while additional firms continue awaiting regulatory approvals before announcing listing dates. This steady pipeline indicates that corporate fundraising through public markets is likely to remain a major feature of India's financial landscape during the remainder of the year.

For investors, the upcoming listings present opportunities to participate in businesses operating across high-growth industries. However, market experts continue to emphasize the importance of evaluating company fundamentals, profitability, competitive positioning, and long-term growth prospects rather than relying solely on market enthusiasm.

As India's capital markets continue expanding, the August IPO calendar represents another milestone in the country's evolving investment ecosystem. With more than ₹25,000 crore expected to be raised across multiple sectors, the upcoming listings underscore both corporate confidence and sustained investor interest in India's long-term economic growth story.
